1 Articles0 CommentsSiva S. Krishnasamy joined Pereira and Tan LLC in October 2014, having practiced earlier with 2 other topflight law firms. Before Practice, he worked overseas, with a well-known MNC, dealing in the world wide Oil and Gas Industry. Aside from the comprehensive exposure to corporate legal work, he earned his spurs essentially in Civil Matters and with the Real Estate Industry (Conveyancing). Wearing the hat of the Conveyancer, he had, with his team, successful brought to a halt the first and only attempt to do an enbloc sale of a HUDC condominium, at the Strata Titles Board. Of equal footing is his exposure and experience in seeing through en bloc sales or collective sales of private properties, both residential and business properties. He is well equipped to handle matters encompassing the BCA (Building & Construction Authority) as well as the URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority). He is savvy in representing clients in the State Courts, the Family Courts, the High Court, the Court of Appeal or to address the Council of Estate Agents in any Inquiry. Siva is equally competent with other Alternate Dispute Resolution avenues whether by Mediation or through Arbitration. He is an Adjudicator with FIDREC (Financial Industry Dispute Resolution Centre); Tutor with the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE) having tutored in Real Estate; Professional Conduct and Civil Litigation. The SILE is the institution that trains and sets the professional standards to be achieved before law graduates are admitted to the Bar. Previously, Siva taught as an adjunct Lecturer at the Australian Maritime Institute's external learning facilities in Singapore and in Cambodia through a Ministry of Foreign Affairs'; initiative with the 'Asean Integration Programme', teaching Intellectual Property. He has in-depth experience and expertise across an array of sectors, including shipping, oil and gas, banking, patent law and litigation.
