如果处理不当，父母带孩子出国甚至可能涉嫌绑架。带孩子搬迁或滞留存在以下不当情况：
违反孩子之前常住国家法律规定的监护权，或
搬迁或滞留时实际上是在行使这些权利，或者搬迁或滞留会导致这些权利无法行使。
因此，如果父母中的一方希望长期带孩子搬离香港，而另一方没有明确表示同意，则需要经过香港法庭的许可。
