Viviene graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1996. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 1997 (Middle Temple) and the Singapore Bar in 1998. Viviene focuses her practice on civil ligation and family law. Her aim is to help simplify the otherwise complex legal process for lay people and ensure that everyone receives good quality legal advice. Viviene is an Associate Mediator with the State Courts, Singapore Mediation Centre and a Senior Mediator of the Law Society of Singapore. She is also a former adjunct fellow of the National University of Singapore (2004-2005) and a tutor for the Board of Legal Education's Postgraduate Practice Law Course (2005-2008). She is also an Assigned Solicitor with the Legal Aid Bureau and a Primary Justice Lawyer with the Community Justice Courts.
